Choicelessness in the Middle

Human life is so interesting and adventurous, for example of all the creatures, only Humans can sit with their spine erect. Here I attempt  to design a framework say the middle bridge transition.

One end of the bridge is the Devil qualities like anger, arrogance, lust, greed, jealousy, hatred, fear  etc. and the other end is Divine qualities like love, compassion, trust, faith, gratitude, generosity, bliss.

We as humans stand in the middle. If we don't do anything, by default we have been designed to be pulled'/attracted by the devil qualities.
To experience the divine qualities at least one step has to be taken.

What is that one step being talked about?

1) Meditation or Sadhana to train the mind to rest and be in present.
2) Music or Satsang to be in the company of truth
3) Service or Sewa to be useful to others without expecting anything in return.

4) Continuously enhancing the energy levels in group to learn, contribute and grow.

The moment we take that one step, the Guru-tvakarshan will consistently create scenarios and provide opportunities so that we experience our real nature.
Now, putting that one step is like coming out of comfort zone to the courage zone.
Either today or may be years later, we have to take that step one. The moment we take step one, we are like on a functional conveyer belt, we just need to relax.

The Guru-tvakarshan will take another 99 steps to make one experience the divinity within.

The job of a Guru is to collect garbage and distribute sweetness. His Presence creates the Guru-tvakarshan

The real challenge is in taking the first step? There may be different scenarios.
1) It is effortless, you, your parents have done some amazing merit(s) in past which you are enjoying now.
2) You are cared by amazing subhchintak(s), who always "PUSH YOU" to take that one step.
3) It is lots of effort, come what may, you intend but don't act.
4) You don't know that you don't know at all.

Taking that one step  comes from Intention ,Attention and Manifestation.

What happens when we take that one step? Yes We gain.
1) Awareness of what is happening inside and outside.
2) Belongingness within and outside
3) Commitment for internal and external responsibilities.
4) Devotion for the Highest.
5) Eagerly Available for being useful to others.

A Guru who creates Guru-tvakarshan is beyond these two opposite values (Devil and Divinity).Infact I believe that the bridge is hanging in His Hollow and Empty space.

Do you need more PUSH or would like to enjoy and amaze the one step transition of being Choice less and jump? You have no choice but to jump one moment. Why not NOW?

Author: Vishnu spreads Happiness and trains people mind to be in present. He loves to Push people to take that one step.
A unique devotee of Sri Sri, he loves to cook, travel, celebrate, meditate and explore chantings.

Through the eyes of a Devotee

Without any desires, botherations and expectations, I was all set to visit Srisailam. Fantastic four (Radhika Chintalaji, Revanth and Mohan) started driving from Hyderabad and reached the Srisailam dam in couple of minutes, to our surprise the gates were open. Standing there for just 2 minutes takes away all the tiredness due to travel. The mind was more in a meditative state as we were listening to Nirvana Dashakam, Viveka Choodamani, Trotakashtakam, to name a few in Bhanu didi voice.

Evening we reached the Divine kshetram,The presiding Deities of this kshetram Lord Mallikarjuna ( one of the 12 Jyothirlingas)  and  Bhramaramba Devi (one of the 18 Mahasakthi). Both are self-manifested. The unique feature of this kshetram is the combination of Jyothirlingam and Mahasakthi in one campus, which is very rare and only one of its kind. I can feel the energy and inner bliss within me. What ever you see, that's what you find.

Early Monday morning I got up and did my Padma Sadhana. It was brilliant and gave me all energy for the day, we started for the morning Abhishekam and were soaked in meditative chants in the sanctum sanctorium. I can experience every cell in my body in absolute bliss. I practiced my Rudram in the Divine environment. One of the young priest asked me, "Where I am coming from? Who is my Guru? Where I learned the chants?" and when He heard "Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji", his scintillating eyes were telling me his love and respect for Guruji. I told him that we all come again in November and He was more excited to meet us.

We fed few Dosa to cow(s) and believe me they are used to eat.We were set for the next set of adventure. It was Shikharam, the beautiful view point for entire area.

Through the eyes of a devotee

Post visiting Shikharam, we came back to start for Akkamahadevi caves. One need to first come down by rope car, followed by 16 kms in boat and then reach the cave. Its brilliant journey.

The cave is very natural and amazing. There is a Sadhuji who does Sewa for the self-manifested Shivlingam inside the cave. One has to walk ~80 feet in the dark cave. It is said that only devotees can have the darshan of the ShivLinga and Guruji has made me choiceless.

I came back and meditated with Sadhuji. As usual brilliant experience. This cave is endowed with a geological marvel of natural Rock Arch measuring nearly 200 x 16 x 4 feet which stands majestically without any support.

Me dating myself

While people were doing darshan, I did wanted to take something as blessings back from the holy cave. It felt like a home and absolute belongingness.I thought to clean the cave from plastics, packets and collected around 5 kgs of garbage. Looking at me, few people joined and in 20 minutes, the cave was as close to nature as it can be. Sadhuji blessed me through his eyes.

While returning, Radhikaji gave a talk to all co-passengers in the boat of creating a Divine Society by not littering tourist places. People really appreciate that. I also really felt awesome as before my DSN program, I used to be ignorant and dirty places and NOW it has been so effortless to take the responsibility of my country. I also felt that one cannot just meditate in the cave as its very tough (imagine without  electricity, water, food, nail cutter, and basics to live life) . A realization came that One has to definitely play his part  to uplift the state of the mind and make this world a Divine Society. Just sitting and being calm doesnot work.Inner Peace needs to be complimented with outer dynamism.

Finally visited the ancient Adi Shankaracharya temple where He composed the book "Saundarya Lahari" which talks about the "Waves of Beauty" of the self.

Guruji has to offer us so many things which we can Happily integrate in our day to day life. AtikaD has kindly consented for a discourse on "Saundarya Lahari" in our coming trip to Srisailam post the DSN program. I get goose bumps with this thought of how Divine it would be to listen to her and meditate in the Divine Kshetra of Srisailam. Overall, we are all ready to submerge in His Holiness grace, Happily.

The Journey of a Veda Boy

Once I had taken my students  to Radha Kunj @ Date with the Divine trip in our Bangalore ashram. We happily meditated with the chants vibrating from the Gurukul.

Someone asked me, “What is that I will miss in this life or What I wish to be in the next life in case I am born again ?” I immediately replied "A Veda Boy".

This is how it all started, I went to meet Guruji on 18th June, 2011, just a month ago after my TTC to share my experience with Him of conducting my first Yes plus program.

Somewhere I heard that there is an Upanayanam program happening in ashram and I just signed for it.

This was mind blowing, my teacher Swami Poornachaityanaji guided us that we have been initiated with Gyatri mantra and now will be eligible to study Vedas. Upanayanam is like an entrance and eligibility to study Vedas. Also we felt that it’s a new birth(dweej) and this time I was born from the Guru or knowledge.

The rituals were simply great. We had to seek alms and collect samidha for our sadhana. It has been my experience that every time I do it ,it purifies the self.

This was a very deep moment where we had a momento with Guruji Himself. Guruji shared that when He learned Gyatri mantra, He practiced it nonstop for almost 3 years.

Inspired by Him, I started practicing Sandhaya. Eventually Years passed…

I was fortunate enough to attend Rudram chanting(I and II) originated from Krishna Yajurveda. Learning it has been a sweet experience for me. It is said that it takes minimum 8 years of full time study in a Gurukul to learn this, and Guruji has opened the gate of experiencing the power of mantras effortlessly. It’s a dream come true in this life itself. We went to Gurukul this time and was amazed to be, learn and study with the Veda boys. It has been an unfathomable bliss for me.

The kids studying there I believe are the most intelligent, smart, confident and hardworking human species on planet earth and they Live in the Present Moment all the time.

On the top of it, our teacher Pandit Damleji told me that the Gurukul gates are always open for me.

The Rudram Participants with Pandit Damleji

Every now and then, the Veda mantras reveal some thing and I believe that it is just the beginning of this journey.I have absolutely no idea what Guruji has plans for me. Like Atika didi said" My life itself is a Guru story". I will be sharing more in my next blog.

The Mind in the Moment

In the moment,
All of a sudden..

The mind descend,
Brings total presence..

The thoughts come and go,
Like a river flow..

The mind is vast and deep,
like the blue ocean sleep..

Unfathomable and infinite,
Every moment is full of Life..

Experiencing His total presence
I believe,
Its the real essence..

I never Knew

I never knew
When and How

I was full with Love and Light
My life has started flowing Up and Right

All I comprehend is Your
Unfathomable Presence

Dropping all grievances and
Spreading Love fragrances

From being somebody to being nobody
And from being nobody to everybody

I never knew
When and How

I am with my Divine
Just to Smile and Shine.
